Conversations
Hallvi changes things only in the main conversation. Side conversations read and explain.
- While Hallvi works, you can steer it after the current step, or queue a message for when it is done.
- A command that needs your approval waits with no time limit, and does not run until you press Approve.
- After an interruption, Hallvi runs nothing until you press Continue or Stop.
Runs commands, asks for approval and connects accounts. Each application has one, and you cannot archive it.
Reads the repository copy and Hallvi's records, and answers while the main one works. Open one with + beside Conversations.
Attach, paste or drop up to four images into a message as context for Pi. Sent images remain in the conversation after reload.
Talk while Hallvi works
A steer never interrupts a running command or a waiting approval.

| Stop | Hallvi is busy and the box is empty. It ends the work and cancels every waiting message. Commands that already ran stay done, and one still running on the server may finish. |
Enter sends or queues. Shift+Enter adds a line. Messages must be under 5,000 characters. Your browser keeps unsent text for each conversation.
Approvals
A command that needs you shows Approve and Decline, and has not run. It waits with no time limit. If you decline, the command does not run and Hallvi continues without it. Which commands wait depends on the permission mode.
After an interruption
If Hallvi stopped mid-work, for example in a restart, it shows This conversation was interrupted. It runs nothing and accepts no new message until you choose:
Hallvi resumes. It does not repeat a command it had started, but checks what happened. Waiting messages run after.
Hallvi drops that work and everything waiting.
The part of Hallvi that runs the agent is down. Hallvi keeps your text. Run hallvi restart, then hallvi status.
